Allianz is committed to promoting inclusion, diversity, and excellence, both in the workplace and in the world of competitive sports. As a partner of the Paralympic Movement, we are proud to use our sponsorship expertise to broaden the audience of sports for persons with an impairment and provide opportunities for Paralympic athletes to tell their stories.
About Allianz Paralympic Partnerships
Allianz has been a partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) since 2006, and became its first International Partner in 2011 incorporating local partnerships with National Paralympic Committees (NPCs): we work at every level of the Paralympic Movement, from global to local, to help increase awareness and popularity of sports for people with an impairment worldwide.
Our motivation comes from Para athletes themselves. These elite performers, who have conquered adversity through hard work, self-confidence, and single-minded determination to achieve excellence in their sports and life, continually inspire us. Together with our local markets we develop creative ways to tell athletes’ stories, introduce Para sport to a global audience, and reinforce our message of empowerment and equality across all our communications platforms.
The IPC
The IPC is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. Its purpose is to organize the Paralympic Games, and to manage, supervise, administrate, and promote Paralympic sporting events.
Allianz is proud to partner with a diverse array of sports teams, organizations, cultural figures, sporting venues, and educational programs. We forge relationships with partners who support diversity, spread awareness about important social issues, and educate future generations.
