Accelerating the impact of social enterprises

The Investment Ready Program 'Encouraging Future Generations' by Allianz and Impact Hub is a unique acceleration program, tailored for purpose driven entrepreneurs and aiming to foster social inclusion of children and youth. Originally designed by Impact Hub Vienna, the Investment Ready Program was redesigned in alignment with the focus of Allianz' sustainability strategy - only social ventures promoting social inclusion and youth development are eligible for participation.

The program helps participants to scale their purpose-driven solutions and to attract investors in order to increase the impact of their social ventures. Over a duration of 6 months, up to 10 participating teams engage in a systematic review of their business model, strategy and team before crafting a validated growth and investment plan. At the end of the program, all participants have the chance to pitch in front of a jury for the Allianz Future Generations Award, which comes with a 40,000€ grant.

Social Inclusion

Fostering social inclusion of children and young people is the cornerstone of this Investment Ready Program. The Investment Ready Program owes its thematic focus to the Allianz Group’s Corporate Responsibility Strategy and specifically to the 'Encouraging Future Generations’ program which constitutes a major pillar of the corporate’s responsibility strategy.

Global Impact

Our program is geared to purpose driven organisations that create scalable solutions to societal challenges around the World. The networks of Impact Hub and our key partners provide access to 90+ locations in all continents and connections to globally-minded stakeholders and investors.

Impact Investors

Our program is a platform for investors and entrepreneurs to meet and collaborate to scale environmental, social and financial benefit. We work closely with action-oriented impact investors who are committed to invest in and support impact ventures. In our unique process, investors and entrepreneurs meet on eye level and can learn more about impact investment.

Capacity Building

Our program is tailored to equip purpose-driven entrepreneurs with everything they need to know in order to attract the right capital for their organisation. We pick entrepreneurs up where they are and guide them through an intense and mindset shifting experience. All participants go through a highly customised program with individual support and coaching by experienced entrepreneurs, investors, Allianz mentors and content experts.

The program in a nutshell

Participants of the program will be part of an international cohort as selected entrepreneurs, all promoting social inclusion of children and young people mitigating the risks from social inequality. Throughout the program, the teams are getting internationally connected and locally supported by an experienced investment coach, high level content experts, Allianz mentors, investors and powerful business tools. They will learn to navigate the impact investment scene and present their venture in various formats to raise the funds for their next level as an organisation. Beyond that, all participants will be part of a multi-day workshop session in Munich.

Take Part 

Each year program is being offered at 3 different locations of the world along with Germany. Brazil, Malaysia and Turkey were the first locations of the 1st cycle. Greece, Indonesia and Spain will be part of the 2nd cycle. About the Award

The Allianz Future Generations Award is designed to invest in projects that contribute to the development and prosperity of Future Generations. For the first edition of the Award, Allianz decided to partner with Impact Hub Munich to dip into a network of creative, purpose-driven and solution-oriented minds.

The Initiators

Allianz and Impact Hub Munich believe that social entrepreneurs play a vital part in accelerating the worldwide adoption of sustainable and inclusive technologies, policies, and behaviours. It is the aim of the program to support the entrepreneurs in getting fit for investment, growth and ready to generate global impact. Allianz and Impact Hub Munich further aim to catalyse investment into social entrepreneurs by nurturing the impact investment ecosystem at the four participating locations. To this end, we work with local investor communities, show them the opportunities and potential of impact investment and link them to internationally operating investor networks through the program.
